We’ve all been there. Working for bosses and companies that suck the last of our patience. Sometimes it’s us and our own baggage mixed in with the bullstuff. And sometimes it’s totally on them. Either way, I can bet that anyone who’s quit or been fired would love to have the last
blast say. And sometimes do.

A former Whole Foods employee is making news today with his
missile missive about the company’s practices, products and employees. I love how he compares WF to “a faux hippy Wal-Mart”. Which is news to me and an oxymoron, unless the WFs in Canada are cheaper than local grocery stores. His opening paragraph sounds like a page ripped from my most recent experience at the world’s most toxic company (which shall remain unnamed and unlinked although I’m highly tempted.), minus the Nickleback music.
My experience at Whole Foods was like an increasingly sped up fall down a really long hill. That got rockier with every metre. And eventually, just really spiky … With fire, acid and Nickleback music.
And this little “gem”. Same thing happened to me at said toxic hellhole.
Oh, you let some customers abuse your employees and then actually reward the customers for their behaviour and then trample on the integrity and honour of your abused employees?
Funny, that I would read this after making a trip this weekend to Whole Wallet and ranting about the service there. After reading fed-up employee’s rant, I love to see what the company, particularly his manager’s take on the letter.
